Say What Now of the Day: “There’s a direct assault on this country’s moral foundation” perpetrated by Sesame Street.

Wow, this isn’t just false, irrelevant, and bigoted, but straight up offensive.
“If you go on the Sesame Street website, it talks about, when you’re bringing up your child, make sure you use gender-neutral language. Make sure that you give your boys dolls, and make sure that you give your girls firetrucks.”
That’s definitely not what gender-neutral means. That’s either ignorance of the term, or propaganda to your viewers to make them think that ‘gender-neutral’ is a immoral thing.
“Yeah, and that’s setting up a problem. Just this year, a high school in Virginia named a guy who was openly gay as prom queen… There’s a direct assault on this country’s moral foundation.”
First of all, they’re indirectly stating that giving your small children gender-neutral toys will make them gay. This is, once again, false propaganda. And saying that a gay person being elected prom queen is not only a problem, but a result of an ‘assault on this country’s moral foundation’ is bigoted and intolerant.
“The values of young people today scare me, because we’re robbing them at earlier and earlier ages of their childhood.”
So you’re saying that by letting your children watch Sesame Street we’re robbing them of their childhood? So basically, any young person who watches TV will turn into nasty, immoral liberals. We better not trust the opinions of people under 35, then. (I’m gonna call another propaganda on that one.)
“I grew up watching Sesame Street and I turned out to be a good conservative, but I had parents that… we watched other things and we talked about the meaning of them and that’s what’s missing. It’s not just Sesame Street it’s the hypersexualization of women.”
Congratulations on growing up to be a ‘good conservative’, miss, but you won a contest where the most popular event is one in which women walk around in skimpy bikinis to be judged by men. I don’t think you’re one to complain about the hypersexualization of women, thanks.
